GIVING BACK TO OUR ALMA MATER AS WELL AS OUR COMMUNITY
Dinthill Technical High School Alumni Association, Georgia Chapter, was started in January, 2013, under the inspiration of alumna, Normalee Asheber. Normalee has been a positive force in the Association and has an undying love and affection for her alma mater. She has been working tirelessly to promote and advance the interests of the chapter, expand its membership base, and encourage networking and participation among diverse groups.
Personal contributions include but are not limited to: monetary donation to the Computer Department; donation of track and field gears, several personal visits to the school to assess needs of athletes; and the chapter’s representative at national and international competitions.
The Association seeks to foster a fraternal relationship with past students and create an equal opportunity for the generations that succeed us.
~ Ensuring that all children are treated fairly; given the appropriate care, equal opportunity and guidance to help them reach their full potential.
~ To utilize talents, experience and leaders of its alumni to make a beneficial contribution to our alma mater as well as local communities.
Dinthill was established in 1938 as one of three practical training centers, providing skilled training in agriculture and allied trades to young men 15-17 years of age who had not qualified for admittance to secondary/grammar schools, or other institutions whose curriculum were focused on gearing students
